Change of Plans
twench just called. Faith asked if Lauren can go downtown with them. Oh dear. I'm not ready for this. We're going to let her go. She is in good hands and they said she behaved really well yesterday. I know she is going to have a blast. I just hope they make the 9:00 train now. Lauren was still sleeping when twench called at 8:30...
I think I'll be nervous all day today. I wasn't yesterday when they were trotting around our area. But this is downtown.
Gosh. I always thought we would be the ones to take her to Chicago for the first time. Be the ones to share her first train ride...
I keep telling myself this is fine. We'll have other train rides and other trips downtown. I know. I'm just adjusting my expectations.
